About Avian-X

Avian-X is THE premium waterfowl and turkey decoy brand. Built on the heritage of Zink Calls (co-founded by Fred Zink, championship waterfowl caller), Avian-X redefined decoy realism by carving decoys from ACTUAL birds not artistic interpretation, but real-world 3D scanning and sculpting. The brand spans the Topflight duck series, LCD (Lifelike Collapsible Decoy) turkey series, HDR (Heavyweight Dekoy Realism) premium tier, and Power Shaker motion system. When other decoy brands stop working on pressured birds, Avian-X starts.

Frequently Asked Questions

When to use a Tom decoy?
Peak breeding season (late March-early May in most states), territorial/aggressive toms. Use CAUTIOUSLY aggressive toms will come hot, but submissive/shy gobblers avoid full-strut tom challenges.

Tom decoy SAFETY:
A full-strut tom decoy looks like a real tom which means OTHER HUNTERS may mistake it for a real bird. NEVER carry a tom decoy through the woods uncovered. Use a camo decoy bag. NEVER use on public land during turkey season unless you can confirm no other hunters in the area.

Avian-X vs budget decoys?
Paint detail, body geometry, and realism. Budget decoys look like decoys; Avian-X looks like real birds at any distance. Makes the difference on pressured and educated game.
