About Avian-X

Avian-X is THE premium waterfowl and turkey decoy brand. Built on the heritage of Zink Calls (co-founded by Fred Zink, championship waterfowl caller), Avian-X redefined decoy realism by carving decoys from ACTUAL birds not artistic interpretation, but real-world 3D scanning and sculpting. The brand spans the Topflight duck series, LCD (Lifelike Collapsible Decoy) turkey series, HDR (Heavyweight Dekoy Realism) premium tier, and Power Shaker motion system. When other decoy brands stop working on pressured birds, Avian-X starts.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I use motion?
Calm, no-wind days when stationary spreads look frozen. Motion decoys create ripples that distant ducks see from the air. Essential for clear, still conditions.

Surface Feeder vs Preener?
Surface Feeder: head-down feeding motion the strongest confidence builder in any spread. Preener: head-turn preening motion more subtle, also very realistic. Mix them for maximum realism.

Battery life?
Typical 8-12 hours on fresh AAs. Keep spare batteries for long hunts.

Avian-X vs budget decoys?
Paint detail, body geometry, and realism. Budget decoys look like decoys; Avian-X looks like real birds at any distance. Makes the difference on pressured and educated game.

Warranty?
Avian-X limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Paint wear from normal use is not warranty-covered.
