It is shaped like the cut surface of a diamond, so when you move it, each surface creates shade and light. When light hits it, it sparkles. It also sinks straight without shaking, and even slight changes in the water flow are felt as changes in resistance because each surface receives them at various angles. The hook shape is also quite distinctive with an open gap. Horse mackerel sucks in the fish at a speed of 0.2 seconds. This special shape was chosen with the idea that “if the tip of the hook touches the inside of the mouth at that moment, it will take longer to spit it out.” The hook material is made of a thin wire diameter to make it easier to penetrate, and to make it less likely to break, it is processed to be hard by mixing a lot of carbon and steel.
