Shimano Zodias 26 Baitcast Rods

The Shimano Zodias 26 Baitcasting Rods are engineered to provide crisp casting performance, improved balance, and exceptional sensitivity. Feel the underwater world like never before thanks to the revolutionary, hollow one-piece rear grip. The integrated handle design provides a high-fidelity conduit, seamlessly transmitting even the slightest vibration from the lure through the line and directly into the palm of your hand. This heightened sensitivity means you can detect the most subtle takes, discern changes in bottom structure, and feel exactly what your lure is doing at all times, giving you the critical feedback needed to turn tentative bites into successful hooksets. This new 2026 Shimano Zodias range combines Shimano’s advanced blank technologies with a lightweight, highly responsive design, providing anglers with supreme confidence.

Hi-Power X

Shimano’s Hi-Power X construction uses diagonally wrapped carbon tape to form a series of “X” shapes around the outside of the blank, reducing twist without adding unnecessary weight. This increases casting accuracy and strength.

Carbon Monocoque Grip

The new Carbon Monocoque Grip replaces a traditional rear handle with a lightweight hollow carbon construction that provides a more sensitive feel (30% increased sensitivity) to any underwater action.

Improved Tip Technology

The Hi-Power X technology reinforces the tips with ultra-fine carbon tape to minimise twisting without affecting their natural action. At the same time, Excite Top uses a unique tapered profile to expand tip movement for improved lure shaking and better visual and tactile sensitivity. Taftec Infinity delivers even greater durability by using three times the winding strength and five times the winding amount of previous Shimano solid tips, creating exceptional strength without compromising sensitivity.

The Shimano Zodias 26 Baitcast Rods are built to provide anglers with confidence from cast to retrieve.
