Pre-Spawn Bassin’ Casting Rod Kits

When spring cold fronts push bass deeper during the pre-spawn, a slightly heavier, deeper running jerkbait can be the key to triggering reaction strikes. Built around the MB813XF rod blank from MHX, this Pre Spawn / Springtime Rod Kit is designed to handle larger jerkbaits while maintaining the crisp, extra fast action needed for sharp, controlled twitches. The added power of the MB813XF provides longer casts and better control over deeper diving baits, while its responsive tip keeps you connected to subtle strikes that often come on the pause. With the perfect balance of backbone and precision, it delivers confident hooksets and the authority to manage bigger fish in changing spring conditions.
