While retaining the finesse appeal of the Huddle Fly, it was made fatter to increase its presence, and to enhance buoyancy, which is a characteristic feature of the elastomer material. In contrast, the Huddle Swimmer Elastomer has a larger tail relative to its body, clearly showing it as an evolution in the swim bait lineage.
