With this STEEZ Flex Jig, it is said that you no longer need a “Texas Rig”. By not using a split ring, the hook does not turn sideways after hitting the bottom, and the tip of the needle is more likely to point upwards, improving hooking performance. The head and hook part bend into a crank shape, allowing it to slip through obstacles smoothly and comfortably like a snake. A minor change was made in 2024, with adjustments to the line eye and a lower center of gravity in the head, making it less likely to flip over underwater and making it more comfortable to use with large trailer worms.
