G4N adds networking capability (requires AS EC QDE adapter). G4 is standalone-only cheaper, simpler if you don’t need networking.

MSI vs MDI vs SI?

MSI = MEGA Side Imaging+ (highest resolution, includes MDI). MDI = MEGA Down Imaging+ only (no side). SI = standard (non-MEGA) Side Imaging lower resolution.
