Castaway Rods – Pro Sport CX2 – CX2ULS68 – Ultra Light Spinning

The CastAway Rods Pro Sport CX2 CX2ULS68 is a 6’8″ ultra-light spinning rod built for the lightest end of the spectrum. The mod-fast action loads smoothly with tiny lures while still recovering quickly enough for accurate, repeatable presentations exactly what you need when you’re throwing 1/16 oz jig heads, small soft plastics, and finesse baits where every detail of feel matters.

At ultra-light power, this rod excels at detecting the subtlest strikes, feeding back information through the high-modulus graphite blank reinforced with carbon nanotube polymer composite. The blank-exposed Sea Guide ergonomic reel seat keeps your hand in direct contact with the blank, and the high-durometer EVA foam handle provides a comfortable, secure grip without adding bulk. Sea Guide 316 stainless steel guides with high-quality ceramic inserts and CastAway’s Static Zoned guide spacing ensure smooth, tangle-free line flow on both braid and mono.

Rated for 1/16 to 3/8 oz lures and 48 lb line the lightest spinning model in the Pro Sport CX2 lineup and the right tool when finesse presentation is the difference.
