Unlike the previous 8-strand braid, the surface is almost monofilament-like due to Smooth Surface Processing (SSP), so the line can be released without stress.
You can feel a smooth “release” with either the out guide or interline.

Originally, the farther you cast it, the larger the surface area becomes, and the more resistance it receives in the water, making it difficult to handle the line. Therefore, it was not possible to transmit 100% of the jerking width of the rod to the egi. However, with “SSP”, the speed at which it cuts through the water has increased and the transmission power has increased, making the egi’s darting even bolder.
